Is saving a document in.docx the same in either Microsoft program? I’ve seen comments where people say WordPad cannot properly open a.docx file made in Word. And that WordPad cannot save a file in.docx. This relatively new article from Feb 2022 and says WordPad cannot save in.docx, and that.rtf is the default. I have a document that I make copies of for different clients. The original document has a single table that has some hidden borders to make it look like several tables. Quickest is if you pin Word (not a document) to Taskbar, and by right click on it you have a list of documents. You can pin any document in list - it will appear on the top and stay there.
